The Kenya police have requested more vigilance in the face of Al Shabaab threats. This follows the ongoing Kenya Army operation against Al Shabaab operatives in Somalia. The Al-Qaeda-linked group has in particular threatened reprisals in Nairobi.

The Police have enhanced vigilance and request the public to report suspicious activity through the following emergency numbers:
